As we approach Christmas and the New Year, I thought I would write a little ‘end of year’ blog.
The biggest news of this year was the addition of Spud, my personal model! He’s a Lab x Collie with no tail but bags of personality. He turned 1 on December 1st and is loving the spotlight!
He’s grown so much and can only stick his head out of the cat flap now!
I was lucky enough to meet some lovely dogs throughout the year, and all did a brilliant job in front of the camera – even when their owners weren’t sure they would! It’s always so rewarding to be able to show people what their photos turned out like.
Every few months I got to attend puppy socialisation classes held by Marion Yates Dog Behaviour Consultant, who doesn’t love puppies? It’s amazing to see them grow both in size and confidence over the 4 weeks!
In Summer, we had the villages annual Gala, and for the first time since I’ve been photographing the Bay Vets Dog Show, we had brilliant weather – maybe a bit too hot though! It was a brilliant turn out, and each dog deserved to win! You can see the write up here, or for all photos head on to my Facebook page
I met up with Ghost and his owners. He is one half of Amber and Ghost – a brother and sister duo who are on Instagram – check them out!
I’m going to include some of my favourite photos from the year, but before I do, 2019 has some exciting things coming up. I have been working on a website for Riding in the Balance, so I will be heading down to Derbyshire to take some photos for that! I will also be updating the website images for Gemma Woolley Veterinary Physiotherapist whilst down there so once a date is confirmed I will announce it on my Facebook Page if anyone would be interested in a session!
I would like to thank each one of you who supported The Hoof & Hound Photographer throughout 2018! Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New year.
